Children’s Centre Partnership

We work closely with an outreach worker to support vulnerable families.

Loughborough collaborates with a local Children’s Centre to provide early support for vulnerable children and families. A site-based outreach worker connects families to essential services, ensuring a seamless link between home, school, and community resources.

Brixton/Tulse Hill Better Start Area

Brixton/Tulse Hill Better Start Area which comprises Jubilee Children’s Centre, Loughborough Children’s Centre and Brockwell Children's Centre.   Brixton/Tulse Hill Children's Centres provide a child centred, friendly, safe and homely environment for families and children aged 0-5, giving access to a range of high quality, fun and stimulating activities.

Through these centres, we offer professional and confidential advice and support, as well as somewhere to meet other parents/carers.

Advice and support may relate to housing, parenting, childcare options, ante and post-natal queries, getting back into training or work and managing finances.

Our core purpose is to reduce inequalities for young children and families in the following areas:

  • Child development and school readiness
  • Parenting aspirations, self-esteem and parenting skills
  • Child and family health and life chances

Jubilee, Brockwell and Loughborough Children’s Centres offer a range of services in addition to those advertised within this timetable.  If you have children under the age of 5, you may wish to access some of the wonderful services provided by our Children's Centre. Please click to see the full range of activities on offer or drop by the Children’s Centre to speak to one of our amazing workers and find out more.
